Henry Fan awarded Gold Bauhinia Star

Hospital Authority (HA) Chairman Henry Fan has been awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star in the 2026 Honours List and Justices of the Peace appointments in recognition of his exceptional leadership. Having served as HA Chairman since 2019, Henry steadfastly led the HA to safeguard the health of Hong Kong people amidst the severe challenges of the COVID-19 epidemic. Under his leadership, the HA has actively made significant enhancements in patient care services, manpower and smart technology, laying a solid foundation for the sustainable development of public healthcare services.

In addition, Dr Tony Ko, former HA Chief Executive, has been awarded the Silver Bauhinia Star to commend his contributions to public healthcare services over the past 30 years. This year, a total of 17 serving members of the HA Board and its Committees, as well as five HA staff members received honours and commendations for their contributions in serving the community.
