The deadly COVID-19 is raging worldwide
Swallowing hundreds of thousands of lives

On the frontline of the war
Together we strike back
Schools closed, shops closed, and cities locked down
We stay at home for the wellbeing of everyone
Healthcare workers are warriors in our fight
With PPE for armour, they shield us day and night

Facing this protracted battle
We brace ourselves to live with the virus
And readily adapt to the new normal

We shall soldier on
In unity and strength
Until we see the glimmer of dawn
