Staff welfare and activity funding increased to $133 per head
When Christmas is around the corner, it’s time for the HA’s annual dinner. Do you know from where these recreational activities, including annual dinner, interest classes, sports activities and various kinds of staff welfare activities organised by clusters and hospitals get their funding support? It’s from HA’s Staff Welfare Fund (SWF) and Credit Card Rebate (CCR).
Helen has good news to share – SWF has been raised to $97 per head, and the CCR per head is $36 this year. The new total $133 per head has been allocated to clusters in August this year based on hospital headcount. Hospitals are encouraged to organise more activities for colleagues contributing to the culture of work‑life balance. By the way, our sports loving colleagues recently won the overall championship six times in a row of Group A in the Corporate Games organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. That’s awesome!
