Day Services

Introduction

Provides Day Services for community patients and their carers in the New Territories West Cluster.

Service units include:

• Day Hospital
• Tuen Mun Mental Health Day Service Centre (Mindset)

Day Hospital serves as a midway between the hospital and the community. With the provision of a wide range of psychiatric rehabilitation and assessment services, it helps our discharged patients to build up their confidence and re-integrate into the community.

Scope of Services

• Formulation of personalised care plan for assessment and training of patient through a multi-disciplinary approach*
• Provision of short term daytime respite care*
• Coordination of volunteer services

* Note: Referral from psychiatrists of Castle Peak Hospital is required.
