I congratulate the Hospital Authority on its success in organising this year’s Hospital Authority Convention.

The Convention has served as an invaluable and unique platform for the exchange of healthcare experiences
and insights since its inception. Being the annual signature event of the Hospital Authority, the Convention
this year will be offering a range of enlightening scientific programmes covering various fields of healthcare.
Besides illustrating the numerous healthcare achievements that we take pride in amidst the increasingly
difficult medical challenges, the Convention also provides an excellent opportunity to showcase the many
discoveries and advances in medical knowledge and technology.
Drawing together healthcare experts from all around the world, this annual Convention not only facilitates
knowledge sharing, it also helps promote cross-border and intersectoral collaboration and professional
networking. I am certain this will pave the way for remarkable breakthroughs in medical services, technology
and cross-discipline cooperation.
I wish this year’s Convention a great success, our delegates a pleasant stay in Hong Kong, and participants
an enriching and rewarding experience.
