Lesson learnt from cyber war victory
Hackers are everywhere in the cyber world. They knocked on HA’s door recently, eyeing devilishly on millions of patients’ data. Fortunately, our IT colleagues successfully shielded off those hackers after two weeks. The lesson learnt from this victory – we need to build a strong defence system externally and internally to protect patient data. Our professional IT colleagues handle the external part, whereas the internal part relies on setting a very strong password.
Mr Henry Fan Hung-ling, HA’s Chairman who just came on board on 1 December 2019, says he would formulate the strategic direction of sustaining HA’s development by reviewing three aspects. He also shared anecdotes of growing up in Kowloon City.
The Year of the Rat is coming, HASLink wishes all colleagues good health, good luck and yet slack business for hospitals in 2020!
