Data Exploration Workshop

To fully harness the potential of the massive medical data provided by HADCL, and to derive accurate and insightful observations, it is essential for researchers to understand not only the depth and breadth of these data, but also their origin, intent, complexity and limitation, which is often not an easy task especially for non-HA researchers.

To better support future potential collaborators of HADCL, the Health Data Exploration Workshop is provided as part of HADCL’s offering. It aims to:

  • provide key knowledge and information regarding the wealth, complexity and limitation of HA’s health data
  • orient researchers towards better understanding of HADCL’s capability and service offering
  • facilitate researchers in their own research and academic objectives by validating any potential collaboration project ideas

The Health Data Exploration Workshop is designed for academic researchers who intend to make use of HA’s clinical data for Big Data analytics and algorithm development via collaboration with HADCL, but may not be familiar with HA data, clinical process, or healthcare in general.
As such, the focus of the Workshop is on HA clinical data lifecycle and associated process, and the service offering of HADCL, while generic Big Data or Machine Learning knowledge will not be covered.
