The Shaw Combined Endoscopy Centre was opened in PWH in 1994, leading the development of endoscopic technology in Asia.
The Sir Yue-kong Pao Cancer Centre & The Lady Pao Children's Cancer Centre was built with a donation of $120 million from Mr. and Mrs. Peter WOO. The facility was opened on 6th November 1994.
The Li Ka Shing Outpatient Clinics (South Wing) was opened on 29th May 1998 to meet the increasing service demand.
The new Accident & Emergency Department of PWH commenced service in October 2010.
The opening ceremony of the Main Clinical Block and Trauma Centre (PWH Phase I Redevelopment) was held on 28th June 2011.
