Since 1993, the Hong Kong Hospital Authority has organised an international convention every year to promote sharing of experience among local and overseas healthcare professionals. It has gone from strength to strength and become one of the largest healthcare conferences in the Asia-Pacific region. The Hospital Authority Convention held in May 2010 was attended by over 3,500 clinicians and healthcare professionals, including healthcare managers and executives from Mainland China, Hong Kong and overseas.
In 2011, the Hospital Authority will hold its Convention from 7 to 8 June at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The main theme of the Convention is “Collaborative Healthcare共建民康”. With this theme, we can explore and discuss the philosophies and concepts of collaborative healthcare across various service sectors, professions and stakeholders. We will also share knowledge and experience on approaches to developing an integrated healthcare system which is recognised for its transparent and outstanding service quality and well trusted by the community.
