The main theme for the HA Convention 2010 is “Happy Staff◦ Healthy People 開心員工◦共建民康”.  With this theme, we can discuss and demonstrate why happy staff, productive workforce, professional service and satisfied patients are of critical importance in creating a sustainable healthcare system which can meet the rising public demand and expectations for quality health care services.

The Hospital Authority Convention 2010 will have over 40 distinguished overseas and local speakers to share their expert views, knowledge and experience on various topics of interest. There will be Plenary and Symposium sessions focusing on the Convention’s main theme and subthemes pertaining to “Organizational Performance”, “Patient Safety and Quality”, Caring Workforce and Staff Competence” and “Strategic Health Service Planning”.

The Convention will also feature a number of Special Topic Sessions on healthcare in China, “lean management” and health informatics. There will also be Master Classes on the topics of biomedicine, genetics and epidemiology, management of hard to cure diseases, health service planning for cancer, substance abuse and psychiatric patients, etc.
