Introduction
The Department of Surgery of Pok Oi Hospital provides SOPD, emergency and elective procedures including operative and endoscopic services. Team members are all under the Department of Surgery of the New Territories West Cluster.
Scope of Service
SOPD Service
- General surgery, breast surgery, vascular surgery, endocrine surgery and colorectal surgery new case referrals
- Follow-up for post-operative and discharged patients
Inpatient service
- Emergency admissions from the Accident & Emergency Department and elective admissions
Operative service
- Ambulatory surgery, general surgery, breast surgery, vascular surgery, endocrine surgery, colorectal surgery and emergency surgery
Endoscopic Service
- Oesophagogastroduodenoscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound
Working hour
| Monday to Friday | 9:00 am to 5:00 pm |
