If you wish to donate your eye tissues
after death, one of the most direct ways is to communicate your wish with your
family members so that they can help make this decision for you after you pass
away. Currently in Hong Kong, medical personnel requires consent from your next
of kin to proceed with corneal donation. Another way to record down your wish
is through registering with the Centralised Organ Donation Register (CODR) set
up by the Department of Health.

Become an eye donor
Eye donation not only brings patients the opportunity to restore their sight, but the donated tissue can also be used for research and training purposes, which is very valuable for treating corneal and eye diseases.
