To celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Dragon, 1,300 HA staff took part in the New Year Run, while also raised more than HK$1 million up till end of January for the HA Charity Foundation. The growing passion our colleagues showed for this annual event demonstrates HA employees' uncompromising quest for excellence. The New Year also brought encouraging tidings as we received a sumptuous "Lai See" from the Financial Secretary - HA has been finally allocated the budget to redevelop Queen Mary Hospital and Kwong Wah Hospital after years of persevering quest. With improved "hardware", we are confident that we will be able to develop our capability to the fullest, while delivering quality patient services. On the other hand, do you know that we have received more than 35,000 commendations and words of appreciation from the public in 2011 ?
