Together we say no to drug¡@

Early assessment and intervention are critical in preventing drug abuse among youngsters. The Adolescent Health Resource Centre, a collaboration among the department of paediatrics and adolescent medicine of Princess Margaret Hospital, Kwai Chung Hospital and Kwai Tsing Safe Community and Healthy City Association, helps to arrange on-site health assessment and detect early symptoms of drug abuse for local secondary schools.

Students demonstrating physical or emotional problems, learning difficulties or substance abuse disorders will be invited to receive further assessment by doctors, occupational therapists and social workers. Besides, the school nurses of the centre can offer students education and counselling services.
