Change is eternal

The Greek philosopher Aristotle said, "Quality is not an act. It is a habit." HASLink has been evolving over the last few months. It is hoped that with more eye-catching design and inspiring content, the newsletter will go from strength to strength and become a communication medium cherished by our colleagues.

In order for the newsletter to reflect aptly what you desire, a readership survey is now taking place across HA. The questionnaire is attached in this issue. Kindly spare a few minutes to complete the survey and sent it back by 31 January 2012. You can also certainly submit it online http://ha.home/ehaslink/survey.

Meanwhile, starting from this issue, HASLink can be found at staff common rooms and canteens in your hospital or at reception areas. Colleagues can have easy access to current and back issues of HASLink from now on. Don't forget to put it back after reading. It is our hope that this initiative will bring you new experience.

Marking decades of dedication and achievements

While the Hospital Authority celebrates its 21st year of helping Hong Kong people stay healthy, some of its hospitals also mark milestones in their histories of serving the community in 2011. Kwong Wah Hospital (KWH), Our Lady of Maryknoll Hospital (OLMH), Castle Peak Hospital (CPH), Kwai Chung Hospital (KCH), Tuen Mun Hospital (TMH) and Shatin Hospital (SH) show us how they celebrate their anniversaries.
