Welcome to the website of The Institute of Mental Health (IMH) - your gateway to the latest professional training opportunities on mental health and general information on common mental health problems for the public.

Under the guidance of the Hospital Governing Committee of the Castle Peak Hospital, the setting up of IMH in 2002 was a major step forward for the Hospital to enhance our contribution towards the community on mental health education. With supportive members from different disciplines of the Hospital, we have organized and participated in more than 1,500 mental health educational activities over the years. We continue to disseminate knowledge on mental illness and mental health by producing over 300 multi-media publications.

Through conducting various educational activities, quality training and insightful research, IMH strives to bring mutual benefits to patients, their carers, healthcare professionals and the public; and to spread the spirit of harmony and inclusiveness to every sector of the community.

IMH needs your valuable support and assistance, to enable us to achieve our mission. We will continue to serve as a "bridge" between the hospital and the community to advocate better mental health.
