My warmest welcome to all participants of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority Convention 2017.
Over the past 25 years, the Hospital Authority Convention has gone from strength to strength and
established itself as one of the premier events of the healthcare community not only locally but
also globally. It brings together a diverse group of renowned healthcare experts from all over the
world to share their valuable knowledge and experience on clinical advances.
More than 5,000 healthcare professionals, practitioners and academics will share in this year’s
Convention the latest breakthroughs and discoveries in a wide range of pertinent topics, including
medical technologies, health service management and patient service delivery. I am sure that
the Convention, by facilitating the exchange of knowledge and exploration of ideas as well as
professional networking, will contribute significantly to the advancement of medicine both in Hong
Kong and elsewhere.
I wish the Hospital Authority Convention 2017 a great success and all participants a most
rewarding and enriching experience.
