We are pleased to invite Mrs. Selina LEUNG to conduct a workshop on “Two-day Foundation Training of Emotion-Focused (Individual) Therapy for Professionals” on 17 & 18 January 2025, which is organised by the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) of Castle Peak Hospital. This workshop will allow participants to understand the basic knowledge of both Emotion-Focused Therapy theory and intervention tasks in working with individuals.
7 & 14 December 2024 – Workshop on Assessment and Management of Students/ Young People with Suicidal Tendency (Re-run)
We are pleased to invite Dr. Hung Chi Hong (Rommel) to re-run a workshop on “Assessment and Management of Students/ Young People with Suicidal Tendency” on 7 & 14 December 2024, which is organised by the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) of Castle Peak Hospital. This workshop will allow participants to equip with knowledge of management and prevention of youth suicide. A framework designed to assess specific needs of high-risk individuals will be highlighted.

青山醫院精神健康學院聯同屯門地區康健中心將於二零二四年十月十九日(星期六)上午十時於屯門醫院日間醫療中心二樓演講廳舉辦「精神健康有得傾」活動。
近年來,社會上對精神健康支援的需求及關注度日益增加,尤其針對青少年群組,有見及此,本學院希望透過是次活動為公眾提供全面的精神健康資訊,以及介紹可用的線上資源,鼓勵大眾積極主動了解精神健康及關顧自己的身心需要。
屆時,我們將向大家推介由本學院全新編製的教材套 -「青少年情緒危機預防攻略」。此攻略的內容由青山醫院的醫護團隊精心設計,特別以青少年為用家而度身訂造。此外,是次活動亦設有其他環節,適合各年齡層人士參與,有關詳情請參閱以下資料:

We are pleased to invite Ms. Beatrice Ng-Kessler to conduct a workshop on “Introduction of Schema Therapy Training Workshop” on 24 & 25 May 2024, which is organised by the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) of Castle Peak Hospital. This workshop will allow participants to understand schema and the mechanism of Schema Therapy. In addition, it helps participants gain insights into its application to clients with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).

This year (2021), while Castle Peak Hospital (CPH) is celebrating its 60th anniversary, "Mind Space" has been opened to invited community organisations and schools for visits starting from October. Mind Space is established by Castle Peak Hospital with the donation of HK$30 million from the "HSBC 150th Anniversary Charity Programme", with the aim to raising public awareness of mental well-being.

"Capture a Beautiful Moment" Photography Exhibition is organised by the Art-in-CPH project group, the Institute of Mental Health, Castle Peak Hospital. The exhibited photos were taken by the service users of the Buddy Support Programme together with our doctors, nurses, occupational therapists and volunteer tutors. Through this exhibition, we hope the public can gain a better understanding of the inner world of our service users so as to promote social inclusion and enhance public awareness in mental health.

We are pleased to invite Dr. Neha Chawla, PhD to conduct a two-day workshop on Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention on 18 & 19 December 2015, which is organised by the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) of Castle Peak Hospital. The 2-day workshop will enhance participants’ knowledge in providing aftercare services for patients who suffered from addictive behaviours and help them to maintain treatment gains and to develop a lifestyle that support their well-being and recovery. The Intellectual Disability Activity Centre of Excellence, Castle Peak Hospital and the Hospital's Medical Social Services Unit of the Social Welfare Department join hands to present the "Art to Heart" Exhibition sponsored by the Queen Elizabeth Foundation for the Mentally Handicapped. The exhibition displays over 20 pieces of art work created by the patients with intellectual disabilities.

Presented by the Hospital Archives and Gallery Exhibition Subcommittee of the Institute of Mental Health, Castle Peak Hospital, this exhibition includes display of different pictures, early medical equipment, documents and old ward keys, illustrating the development of Castle Peak Hospital and the psychiatric services in Hong Kong with an aim of reducing stigma towards mental illness.
