The New Territories West Cluster (NTWC) is alerting the public to be wary of an investment-related instant messaging group. A photo of the Cluster's Chief Executive, Dr. Wong Yiu Chung, has been used as a profile picture by a group administrator without authorization.

NTWC categorically asserts that Dr. Wong has never joined the aforementioned group. NTWC advises the public to exercise vigilance and always verify the authenticity of instant messaging groups to prevent falling victim to scams. NTWC has reported the case to the Police and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data.
