Community Services Centre of Tuen Mun Hospital invited secondary students of the district to join the activity last year. The students had visited some elderly with chronic illness, after receiving caring trainings provided by the hospital. They recorded their observations and feelings of visits in passages in April of 2013, showing the elderly’s patience during their course of illness and wisdom of life. The passages were collected and published as a resonance story book: Life philosophy on coping with chronic illness. To mark the achievement, the students and the elderly involved were invited to join a book launch which was successfully held by the Centre on 28 June 2013.
