Introduction
Prosthetic and Orthotic Treatment
Aims to preserve or to restore patient's highest level of physical and socio-economical independence by means of prosthetic, orthotic and other assistive technology.
Prosthetics: The design, fabrication, fitting and evaluation of artificial replacement the missing body parts to restore their function and/or appearance.
Orthotics: The design, fabrication, fitting and evaluation of appliances to support, align, prevent or correct deformities or to improve the function of the body parts.
Assistive Technology
Devices that help to maintain patients' mobility and activities.
Scope of Services
- To provide highest possible prosthetic and orthotic services to patient
- To work with other members in the rehabilitation team in the delivery of total patient care
Services Hours
Monday to Friday: 8:45 am - 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm
