New Cases Booking
Appointments can be made by using the "BookHA" function in mobile app "HA Go", or made in person or by a third party at the New Case Booking Counter of Hall 1 in Specialist Out-patient Clinics.

- A valid identity document or copy (e.g. HK Birth Certificate and HKID Card)
- Referral letter from a local registered medical practitioner issued in the last 3 months
- A document showing patient's English residential address, such as water or electricity bills. (issued in the last 6 months)

As the demand for specialist service is increasing, appointment is arranged with reference to the clinical information specified in the submitted referral. The priority in appointment is based on triage guideline. This helps ensure appropriate treatment is given to patients in need.
The validity period of doctor's referral is 3 months, please refer to respective information sheets or enquire the staff concerned for details.
If patients fail to turn up for consultation, a new appointment has to be made with a new referral.

Psychiatric Clinic Appointment
Appointments can be made in person at Psychiatric Specialist Outpatient Clinic. Documents required:
- A valid identity document (e.g. HK Birth Certificate and HKID Card)
- Referral letter from a local registered medical practitioner issued in the last 3 months
- Residential address information (issued in the last 6 months)
The appointment will be given by nurse according to Triage Guideline in general. The triage assessment form and referral letter will be screened by concerned specialist.
