Mental Health Promotion Committee

Mental Health Promotion Committee has been established since 2003. It is responsible to recommend Hospital Management Conference on strategies and projects on promotion of mental health, prevention of mental illness and reduction of stigma for persons in recovery (PIRs), their carers, and community. The committee also collaborates with clinical management teams, different departments and units to organize mental health promotion programmes. It also develops community partnership in provision of mental health service to promote harmonious caring culture in community so as to increase carers support and social inclusion of PIRs.
