Since 1993, the Hong Kong Hospital Authority has organized an international convention every year to promote sharing of experience among local and overseas healthcare professionals. It is both an important conference for the local community and a major healthcare conference in the Asia-Pacific region. The Hospital Authority Convention held in June 2011 was attended by 3,800 clinicians and healthcare professionals, including healthcare managers and executives from Mainland China, Hong Kong and overseas.
The main theme of the Hospital Authority Convention 2012 is “EnHAncing Health協作同心.醫澤社群”. The Convention will explore and discuss the philosophies and concepts of enhancing health across various service sectors, professions and stakeholders. We will also share knowledge and experience on the approaches to enhancing the quality and safety of healthcare services.
