360-degree feedback exercise - Your views count!

T he Hospital Authority began piloting its "360-degree feedback exercise" in 2005. This is a development tool by gathering information about the individual from every angle, including the individuals themselves, their supervisors, peers and subordinates.

Since last year, the exercise has been used to help formulate individualised development plans for the HA's senior executives, including Cluster Chief Executives, Directors and Heads of Divisions, Hospital Chief Executives and Chief Managers. Now it has been extended to include our clinical leaders (Chiefs of Services) too.

Chiefs of Services can invite their peers and subordinates to give them feedback. Those chosen to participate in the first batch of this exercise will receive an invitation via e-mail by November.
