In view of the overwhelming response of the workshop in December 2019, the Institute of Mental Health of Castle Peak Hospital organised “A Two-day Workshop on Evidence-based Low-intensity Cognitive Behavioural Strategies for Depression and Anxiety (Re-run)” on 23 & 24 May 2025, with a total of 96 mental health care professionals joined.
We were honoured to invite Prof. Suzanne So, Registered Counselling Psychologist of The Hong Kong Psychological Society (HKPS), Clinical Psychologist in Accredited Register, as well as Professor at the Department of Psychology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, to be our speaker.
In the workshop, Prof. Suzanne So introduced the basic knowledge of evidence-based low-intensity cognitive behavioural strategies. Through skill demonstration and interactive session, participants were equipped with up-to-date knowledge about the application of LI-CBT for systematically treating depression, panic disorder and anxiety.
