21 – 25 July 2025 – Castle Peak Hospital – Summer Student Volunteer Programme 2025

The Summer Student Volunteer Programme 2025 provides an opportunity for teenagers who are interested in psychiatric services and its development in Hong Kong. Participants will participate in volunteer services and visit different units of Castle Peak Hospital. Details are as follows:

Volunteer Service:	21 – 25 July 2025 (Monday – Friday)
Opening Ceremony: Closing Ceremony:	17 July 2025 (Thursday) 9:00 am – 1:00 pm 15 August 2025 (Friday) 10:30 am – 12:30 pm
Target participants:	Full time students with age 15 or above
Content:	1. Basic volunteer training Basic infection control and prevention Roles and responsibilities of being a volunteer and the respective code of practices Communication skills Fire safety Data privacy Occupational safety and health Prevention of workplace violence and sexual harassment 2. Participate in volunteer services and visit different units of Castle Peak Hospital

Fee:	Free of charge
Points to note:	1. Before successful registration as a volunteer of Castle Peak Hospital, participants must: be 15-year-old or above (parent/guardian’s permission is required for applicant who is under 18 years old) attend basic infection control and prevention course and pass the respective test 2. To ensure the safety of volunteers, this programme may be rearranged subject to the latest infection control measures of the Hospital Authority
