The centre offers a variety of support services to assist cancer patients and their family to actively facing the treatment process and overcoming various challenges during the treatment journey

1. Patient and Carer Empowerment and Support Service
- Resource Corner
The resource corner provides updated cancer information, including information leaflets, patient group details, community resources and spiritual care information. - Orientation Programmes for Newly Diagnosed Patients
Led jointly by relevant clinical departments, allied health professionals and patient support groups, the orientation programmes will provide information regarding treatment process and care, community resources as well as arranging peer sharing. - Peer Sharing
Aims to encourage and support patients by facilitating communication and sharing experiences of the treatment journey among peers. - Rehabilitation Programme
- Dietetics Seminars: Regular seminars conducted by dietitians and Chinese medicine practitioners to help patients address dietary issues during treatment and rehabilitation, and alleviate treatment-related discomfort.
- Seminars on Diseases and Exercise Classes︰
These sessions are designed to assist patients in developing healthy exercise habits.
- Spiritual Care Services
In collaboration with the Hospital Spiritual Care Service units, we co-organize sharing sessions to help patients and carers relieve stress and foster positivity through talks, hymn singing and sharings.- Patient Support Groups in Prince of Wales Hospital

2. Psychosocial Support
- Psychosocial Groups︰
The centre offers various psychosocial groups focused on enhancing self-image and emotional management, assisting cancer patients in overcoming the trauma of cancer and starting a new life. - Clinical Psychology Services︰
Individual and family counselling services provided by clinical psychologist to support cancer patients and their families throughout different stages.
3. Community Collaboration
- Community Support Programme︰
The centre collaborates with diverse community partners to organize group and individual consultation activities, such as drug information sessions by community pharmacies.
4. Volunteer Services
- The center offers a range of volunteer services aim at promoting the philosophy of “Helping Others to Help Themselves” and fostering “volunteerism”. Those interested in volunteering can inquire with the centre staff for more information.
