Admission Procedures: Clinical (Non-Emergency) Admission

• All clinical admissions are arranged after consultation in Clinical Departments of Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital.
• An Admission Slip will be issued to patient with information on admission date, time, ward and special instructions (if any).
• Patient should follow the instructions on “Admission Slip” and report to Admission Office (G/F, Block A, AHNH) or corresponding ward accordingly.
• Patients must present the original valid identity document for admission, which includes:
  • For Adult and adolescent (12 years of age or over): HKID Card or Travelling Document;
  • For Child (under 11 years of age): HKID Card / HK Birth Certificate or Travelling Document;
  • For Infant (who was born in Hong Kong and less than 42 days but does not have Birth Certificate yet): Documents issued by Hospital (e.g. Immunisation Card) and HKID Card / Travelling document of patient’s father or mother.
• If patients could not present original valid identity documents upon registration, no admission registration would be processed.
• If the admission appointment is no longer required, please call 2689 2040 to contact Admission Office to cancel.

Remarks:
If your admission is scheduled outside Office Hours of the Admission Office, please report to A&E Registration (G/F, Block C, AHNH) for admission registration.
