As the Ebola virus outbreak continues to intensify and spread in West Africa, healthcare organisations around the world are increasingly concerned about the real threat of a global epidemic.

To address this threat and the anxieties of staff, the Hospital Authority has developed a comprehensive contingency plan and initiatives have been designed to ensure that staff are informed and well protected. In a first-time collaboration, HA and Radio Television Hong Kong have joinded hands to produce a docudrama about ‘everyday’ events in Hong Kong’s public hospitals. The first episode of the six-part ‘More than Healing’ series will air on 24 September. The storyline of each episode is based on information taken from real-life cases and events.
