Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Cognitive Behavioural Treatment for Emotional Disorder Introductory Workshop (Online)

The “Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Cognitive Behavioural Treatment for Emotional Disorder Introductory Workshop” organised by Institute of Mental Health of Castle Peak Hospital was successfully conducted on 10 & 24 June 2022, with a total of 113 mental health care professionals joined online. It was our honour to invite Dr. Candice Ling Yuet-man POWELL, Practicing Clinical Psychologist and Trainer of Unified Protocol for the Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders, to deliver this workshop.

In the workshop, Dr. POWELL introduced evidence supporting the development of transdiagnostic Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) interventions, and demonstrated how to apply core Unified Protocol treatment strategies step by step. Participants were equipped with knowledge of emotion-focused cognitive behavioural approach, and thoroughly understood the development of cognitive behavioural interventions.
