Online Workshop on Treatment Groups for Clients with Mental Illness

The “Treatment Groups for Clients with Mental Illness” Online Workshop organised by Institute of Mental Health of Castle Peak Hospital was successfully held on 13 & 20 January and 10 & 17 February 2022. Around 60 mental health care professionals participated in the event. We were honoured to invite Prof. Timothy LEUNG, Associate Professor of Practice in Social Work at the Department of Social Work of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, to be our speaker.

In the workshop, Prof. LEUNG introduced the theories and skills in conducting therapeutic groups. Through interactive activities and case sharing, participants gained valuable and up-to-date knowledge about evidence-based group practice.
