Speech Therapy service in TWH aims at providing a high quality service to individuals and the community to maximize their communication and swallowing functions through assessment and diagnosis, interventions, appropriate liaison, advocacy, community education and research. Communication&swallowing disorders impose a long-term physiological, psychological as well as social impacts on individuals concerned.
Individualized rehabilitation programs will be devised for patients who evidence communication and/or swallowing disorders.
