Electromedical Diagnostic Unit
Introduction
Our objective is to provide quality service for establishing medical diagnosis of in-patients of Siu Lam Hospital by using electro-medical devices.
Scope of Services
Electroencephalography (EEG)
Services include Ordinary Electroencephalography, Sleep Electroencephalography, Video Encephalography and Ambulatory Electroencephalography. These help to evaluate organic brain disorders.
Polysomnography (PSG, Sleep Study)
Services include Multiple Sleep Latency Test in the daytime and Sleep Study at night. These help to evaluate and diagnose various types of sleep disorders.
Electrocardiography (ECG)
Ordinary electrocardiography helps to evaluate the function of the heart and enhance the early detection of heart diseases.
