Hospital Authority (HA) Central Intern Orientation Program

The program aims to facilitate interns to learn and develop both technical and non-technical skills in patient management, heightening interns’ awareness of risks in clinical practice, patients’ safety, the application of effective strategies and communication skills in critical situations.


Hospital Authority (HA) Intern Simulation Training Boot Camp

The aims and objectives of the program are to introduce the safety culture in HA. The key elements of patient safety, and the importance of human factors in the daily clinical duties through simulated scenario-based practice were well covered in the program. It also provides the opportunities for participants to learn and practice common bedside procedures, clinical handover, inform consent, teamwork, and communication skills.


Kowloon Central Cluster (KCC) Intern Simulation Training

The program aims to achieve high quality of healthcare service with emphasis on patient safety, targeting at procedures of adverse medical events at high incidence rate, enhancement of fresh medical interns' awareness of patients' safety and reduction in human error through simulation training.


Surgical In-house Preceptorship Training Program

This is an orientation program for the newly promoted nursing staff in the Department of Surgery. It provides an interactive learning environment for participants to practice critical thinking in the preset scenarios, such as the nearly missed cases and emergency situations.
