This program provides routine training on airway management, helping participants to refresh the relevant skills and knowledge. It also aims to promote safety precautions to both patients and healthcare workers, especially the management of patients with difficult airway and potential infectious diseases.

Basic introductory course to echocardiogram (ECHO) is designed to deliver a basic introduction and understanding to transthoracic echocardiogram to both doctors (who need to provide acute or triage care for consultation to patients) and nurses (who are potential to take up the ECHO tasks in the Cardiac unit). The course includes didactic lecture, hands on skills training and case discussion. Participants are able to practice the ECHO skills on human model and on simulators to have practical experience in different pathological cardiac conditions.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers Course
The Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers Course aims to provide BLS knowledge and skills of CPR for victims of all ages (including ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen), use of automated external defibrillator (AED), and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO). This program involves multiple learning activities including videotape, practical session and instructor discussion.

Through operations of the Angio simulator, it provides opportunities for participants to have hands-on practice in both vascular and neuro-vascular intervention modules. An advanced course was designed for experienced interventional radiologists to advance and master their clinical skills in the area.

This program is designed to equip nursing staffs with advanced knowledge and skills in the mechanism. This includes the application, considerations and trouble shootings of patients on mechanical ventilation. Signs of deterioration, possible complications and respective managements are also covered in this program.
