Personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare staff were in acute shortage during the COVID-19 epidemic, but they are crucial for both frontline medical staff in the combat of coronavirus and our centre for providing high‑risk procedures training. In order to preserve valuable PPE resources for frontline medical staff, MDSSC had made good use of alternatives and self-developed substitutes in training activities.
