Centre Overview

Multi-Disciplinary Simulation and Skills Centre (MDSSC) was established in 2011, aims to facilitate continuous improvement and achieve excellence in healthcare through simulation-based as well as skill-based learning.

MDSSC is one of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority (HA) full-motion simulation training centers, well equipped with advanced equipment and well-designed simulated clinical facilities. We offer a variety of courses by qualified trainers, including local and overseas simulation experts. In 2014, accreditation in the area of Teaching/Education was granted by Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH).

MDSSC is under multidisciplinary governance, and we have a friendly team that offers practical and professional training support. The team won the HA Outstanding Team Award and Excellence Award of Asian Hospital Management Awards in 2018 and 2019 respectively, for the quality training service on the improvement of clinical service and patient safety and innovations in Healthcare Technology Projects.
