Message from Centre Director

Greetings from the Multi-Disciplinary Simulation & Skills Centre (MDSSC)!

The MDSSC is one of the full-motion simulation training centres under the Hong Kong Hospital Authority (HA). To facilitate the improvement of medical efficiency and safety, we have developed various specialized and cross-specialty trainings with different departments. Our trainings aim to optimize the standard of the healthcare professionals to meet the service needs and bridge the gaps between clinical and quality & safety issues.

The MDSSC also places great emphasis on innovation development and academic research. We have been working closely with other clinical departments in exploring and applying 3D printing and virtual reality technologies to medical training. We anticipate that these technologies will significantly improve the realism in simulation training.

In future, we will continue the advancement and development of our simulation training by collaborating with different clinical teams on course development. We would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the support from Medical Grade of Head Office, Senior Management from Kowloon Central Cluster, other HA Simulation Training Centres, dedicated trainers, overseas experts and external partners.
