Department profile

In order to achieve the objective of whole person medicine which covers the physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs, the NTEC Spiritual Care Service Sub-committee was founded in 2004. The Christian Chaplaincy service and Catholic Pastoral Care service were formally incorporated into the hospital system. The Buddhist Chaplaincy Department later joined in 2007.

We facilitate connections between discharged patients and relevant charitable, non-profit or religious bodies, so that they would be appropriately followed up in the community.
