Tuen Mun Hospital Patient Resources Centre

The Patient Resources Centre (PRC) of Tuen Mun Hospital was established in 1994 to promote and enhance patient self-care and active patient management through patient-centered coordination with patient groups, volunteers, community partners and clinical teams. With the development of medical social collaboration, the Center strives to establish a sustainable network of collaboration with community partners to achieve greater synergy and to provide services that better meet the needs of patients.

The Tuen Mun Hospital Satellite Centre is located on the ground floor of the main block, next to the convenience store. It provides a warm, comfortable space equipped with various resources to support patients and caregivers. Patients and caregivers can access information to help manage health conditions. They can learn disease self-management strategies, healthy living tips, the latest gerotechnology advances, news from the PRC, and community support services available. The goal is to improve disease management and self-care skills and capacity for long-term wellness.
