Arrangements during Adverse Weather Conditions

If the Hong Kong Observatory issues a severe weather warning signal 2 hours before service, the Patient Resources Centre (Centre) service arrangements are as follows:

Remark:

• If a black rainstorm warning is issued before the center opens, centre will not open. However, centre will still be open when black rainstorm warning is issued during the service hour of the centre.
• If strong wind signal NO. 3 or above or red or black rainstorm warning signal is still hoisted two hours before outdoor/indoor activities and volunteer services, all outdoor and indoor activities will be cancelled.
• Online events will be canceled when typhoon signal No. 8 or above or black rainstorm warning signal is still hoisted two hours before the event.
• Three hours after the Observatory cancels the strong wind signal NO. 3 or above and the red/black rainstorm warning signal, the operation of the center and all indoor, online activities and volunteer services will return to normal, but outdoor activities will be cancelled.
• Please pay attention to the weather conditions during typhoons and heavy rains to decide whether to attend the centre's activities.
• Thunderstorm warning signals are still hoisted two hours before outdoor activities, all water activities will be cancelled. Land-based activities may be continued, rescheduled or canceled based on prevailing weather conditions.
