Dental Clinic
The KWH Dental Unit was established in the early 1960s to serve the TWGHs employees and their family members. With rising standard of care in the hospital, emergency dental services were later extended to in-patients of the KWH.
When the KWH formally joined the HA in the early 1990s, the service area changed to HA's Schedule Two eligible employees and their dependents, whereas service to the pre-existing in-patients remained unchanged. The Unit now has one resident Dentist and two Dental Surgery Assistants. Facilities in the clinic include a dental operating unit and two radiographic machines.
