KCC Falls Prevention Awareness Week

The KCC Falls Prevention Awareness Week was held from 17 to 21 September (Monday to Friday). Our hospital has also organised various activities to enhance the awareness of the community, in-patients and healthcare staff on falls prevention. Community health talk on the methods and importance of falls prevention given by an orthopaedic doctor, video shows in public area on falls prevention, an exhibition and a “Fall Prevention” App help desk were arranged at the Main Block of KWH. A falls prevention site visit in Ward N4 offering professional opinions for ward facilities improvement was conducted.
