Celebration of International Day of the Midwife and International Nurses Day

This year, the theme of celebration was “Nurses: A Voice To Lead – Achieving The Sustainable Development Goals”. Celebration included booth presentation, nursing seminar and signing performances by bands and choir from KWH and TWGHs WTSH. The opening ceremony was officiated by Dr. Nelson WAT, HCE, KWH, Dr. Y H CHONG, HCE, HKBH & TWGHs WTSH and Ms. L H CHUNG, GM(N), KWH/WTSH. The climax of the celebration was the moment when Ms. CHUNG led all nurses to have candlelight ceremony and reciting the pledge named for Florence Nightingale.
