The Hong Kong Marathon

The annual event ‘The Hong Kong Marathon’ would be held on 17 Jan 2016 (Sunday). Starting from 1997, more and more runners participated in the Marathon. Many of our colleagues had participated as well. The routing of the marathon had changed in this year, racers would pass through Nathan Road and Mongkok which would be close to Kwong Wah Hospital.
The Hong Kong Marathon was awarded the Gold Road Race Label by the International Association of Athletics Federations, which the top 10 runners would be eligible to join The 2016 Olympic Games and World Championships. There also would be International live broadcasting of the event.
The theme ‘Together, We Run Further’ was adopted to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the event. Life was just like a marathon as we would come across different challenges. By perseverance obstacles would be overcome. Wish all colleagues participating in the race performing well.
