The Hospital Authority has all along organised its distribution network of hospital services along the clustering concept to improve inter-hospital cooperation and cost effective use of available resources to address health needs of the population. Dr. LUK Che-chung is currently the Cluster Chief Executive of Hong Kong West which is one of the 7 Clusters under the Hospital Authority. The Hong Kong West Cluster consists of 7 hospitals: Queen Mary Hospital, Tsan Yuk Hospital, The Duchess of Kent Children’s Hospital at Sandy Bay, Grantham Hospital, Tung Wah Hospital, Fung Yiu King Hospital and MacLehose Medical Rehabilitation Centre; 5 General Outpatient Clinics: Sai Ying Pun Jockey Club General Outpatient Clinic, Ap Lei Chau General Outpatient Clinic, Central District Health Centre, Aberdeen Jockey Club General Outpatient Clinic, Kennedy Town Jockey Club General Outpatient Clinic; and David Trench Rehabilitation Centre.
