The main theme for the Hospital Authority Convention 2007 is 'Innovating for Health 創健利民'. The Convention aims at articulating the case that a health system needs to enhance innovations, improvements and modernization at multiple levels for it to become sustainable and capable of meeting challenges ahead.
The Hospital Authority Convention 2007 will have a panel of distinguished overseas and local speakers to share their views and interact with participants. Discussions on innovative service models, modernized healthcare management skills and redefining the competencies and future roles of the healthcare workforce will form the mainframe of the Convention with the Plenary and Symposium sessions focusing on various aspects of the health system including healthcare reform, service delivery, quality assurance, planning and development of the future health workforce, and involvement of and participation by patients and the general public.
