edicated, hardworking, and reliable, Ms Betty Li Yuet-wah has served patients in Our Lady of Maryknoll Hospital (OLMH) for more than 30 years. Her primary duties include administrative work, supervising communication services, monitoring the emergency system, assisting with mortuary service supervision and auditing the release of bodies.
Ms Li is the first point of contact when admitting patients, meeting relatives of the deceased for the
release of the bodies and assisting during emergencies. She encapsulates the hospital's mission to serve patients whole-heartedly. Whenever there are aged and unaccompanied people register for admission, Ms Li would make sure they can hear and understand the procedure. She would also request ambulance staff to accompany their patients to make sure patients' safety.
A member of the OLMH Staff Welfare Committee (2009/10) and a Hospital Ambassador, Ms Li has shown immense loyalty to the hospital, subsequently boosting public opinion and feedback. Ms Li endeavours to enhance communication, respect, trust, support and understanding. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her family, gardening flowers and playing badminton.
