amela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital (PYNEH) staged the Eastern Hospital Fun Day 2010 last November to help raise funds for the Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Charity Foundation, and they are being used to improve patient services, enhance partnerships with the community, and promote teamwork among staff members.

The day's programme included a charity bazaar, walkathon, and outdoor entertainment performances. The charity bazaar was a new feature of last year's event. The participants had a great time enjoying the game booths, DIY Corner, sales of special souvenirs and health products, and delicious snacks. The walk started from the hospital to Lei Yue Mun Park and Holiday Village, via Chai Wan Road, and back - a total distance of 2.5 kilometres.
